Carpe Diem Designs was formed by me in memory of my late mother-in-law. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on March 14, 2006, had her surgery November 8, 2006 to remove the cancer, but died on December 3, 2006. In her honor and memory, I created this company to honor her life-long motto that she taught to her family, her students, her colleagues, and anyone else who knew her: "Carpe Diem"! Seize the Day!!!!
