Payment
While PayPal is the preferred form of payment, the following forms of payment are accepted: PayPal (credit card, debit card, and check), personal check, money order, cashier’s check, and cash. No matter what form of payment is used, all orders will not be shipped until the payment has been confirmed, cleared, and paid. Checks, including checks paid through PayPal, can take up to 14 days to clear. Carpe Diem Designs will not be responsible for shipping delays due to clearing of payments.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
In order to make a return or exchange for any reason, the buyer must contact Carpe Diem Designs within seven days of receiving the item(s) to receive return shipping address and instructions. The buyer must include the invoice number and the issues with the item(s). The initial and return shipping charges may not be refunded or applied to any other orders. If a refund is requested, the original form of payment will be refund or a credit will be given. The item(s) must be returned in the original packaging and in the original condition. A 25% restocking fee may be applied to any order that is returned. Carpe Diem Designs cannot be held responsible for any delays in refunds once they have been initiated through PayPal or any other company, including mailing through USPS.
Shipping
Your items will be mailed via USPS and will have a tracking number that will be emailed to you when it is received from USPS. Carpe Diem Designs also cannot be held responsible for any lost, damaged, stolen, or late arrivals of your items. You may purchase insurance for your item(s) prior to paying for the order. The insurance number will be emailed to you when it is received from USPS. Please double check your shipping information. Carpe Diem Designs will be responsible for any delays due to inaccurate shipping information.
Custom Work
At Carpe Diem Designs, any custom work is gladly welcomed. For the best estimate on custom work, please provide as much detail as possible. Pictures of items you like are also welcomed for recreation. Depending on the custom work, a deposit or full payment may be required. If this is the case, the total required will be listed in the estimate. Once the deposit or full payment is received (if one is required), the custom work can begin. Please keep in mind that the estimate is the best idea of what the item(s) will cost and may fluctuate depending on the piece(s) and the components of the piece(s). You will be emailed any updates on the item(s) as well.
Alterations to Pieces
If you desire jewelry alterations or have item-specific questions, please contact Constance to discuss your ideas. If you require alterations to a piece already listed on the Carpe Diem Designs website, please note that in your order or email Constance with the specifics. If you need repairs on items you already own, email Constance with as much information as you can (i.e.: new clasps needed, restringing of beads, bead types, lengths, length to be subtracted or added, match a piece, etc); of course, please include pictures if you have them. For items not sold by me, Carpe Diem Designs cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise during the alteration of your piece. All policies also apply to these pieces. Alterations and services on pieces not purchased through Carpe Diem Designs may require a deposit or full payment to begin alterations or services. No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be permitted on these pieces.
Cancellation Policy
A customer has the option to cancel his or her order prior to its shipment. Keeping in mind that shipping typically occurs in the same day, depending on holidays and weekends, you need to request a cancellation immediately via email or phone call. If your email or phone call is received after the item is shipped, the standard return policy will apply.

Sales
Carpe Diem Designs reserves the right to not enter into and complete any transaction for any reason. Should an order be taken in any manner (via website, email, phone, in person), a prompt refund shall be completed should Carpe Diem Designs decide not to make the sale for any reason.
